A reminder to Parents/Guardians:
There are still funds left to be distributed for those who need assistance to attend camp.
The Manitoba Camping Association Sunshine Fund is here to help children experience the benefits of camp. We would not be able to provide this support without help from our generous donors and granting agencies.
To apply for financial assistance, the Sunshine Fund application is available to download by clicking on the link below. To find out if you qualify for assistance, please review the Statistics Canada Low Income Cut-Off chart below. If you qualify, the maximum subsidy amount is $700.00 per child per year for a child attending an accredited camp.

Mission & Service Grant (Flooring)
Due to Covid restrictions we were unable to open the camp again this summer. However, we were fortunate to receive grants and donations that enabled us to use this time to make much needed improvements. We completed our staff house project. New flooring and windows were installed and the living room and hallway received a new coat of paint.
Also, thanks to a grant we were able to replace our four old road signs with beautiful new signs giving directions that make it easy to locate the camp.
Thanks as well to all individuals, churches and U.C.W. groups for your donations.
Also, thank you to the group of ladies that painted in the staff house and also the men that helped replace the windows! Without all those who help we wouldn’t be able to continue to make improvements and keep the camp going!
Respectfully, Rock Lake United Church Camp Board
Our mission is to provide a camping environment which encourages freedom to learn about Christian Faith and growth, within a fun, caring and safe community.
We encourage this by offering activities, games and worship providing leadership opportunities where campers learn:
- to conserve and preserve God’s creation
- about acceptance of self and others
- to develop friendships.
The camping program is run by dedicated full-time staff supported by counsellors. Together they create a warm, fun-filled atmosphere where campers of all denominations and non-religious background are able to enjoy the outdoors and grow spiritually.
GLORY TO GOD, WHOSE POWER, WORKING IN US, CAN DO INFINITELY MORE THAN WE CAN ASK OR IMAGINE AT ROCK LAKE UNITED CHURCH CAMP!
